Dedicated to the memory of Ruth Castle

This site is a loving tribute to Ruth Castle, who was born in Melton Mowbray on December 10, 1944 and sadly passed at home on 9th April 2018 after a long and exceedingly brave battle with cancer. She is much loved and leaves a very big hole in our hearts and lives.

Please leave a message, memory, story or light a candle, and if you have any photos of mum, we would be most grateful if you would send them to share with every one.

Please consider leaving a donation as Loros gave mum such loving care whilst she spent 6 weeks there last year and they have been great support to the family ever since.

Thank you. Marie & Paul xx

Happy New Year my gorgeous mum. It doesn't matter how many years pass, we still miss you, especially at Christmas. Our other little girl should be with you now, Baby Daisy, I know you will all look after each other. The year has been hard and stressful, changes that affect big future life directions for me. Time to start looking after myself more. Time to let go of the past (which is easier said than done). Time to enjoy! Love you all, always, stay close as I'll need the extra strength. Marie x

Hey you. I'm missing you so much. I can't believe it's been 3 years, I want time to stand still, life isn't right without my mum. I was looking at the photos of when we went to Newark and had that lovely lunch and boat ride, such a lovely day, I want to relive it over and over. I hope you are all happy there together: dad, granny grandad and Edna and my Holly. I Love you x
